Reflecting on the methods of your accomplishments

As we wind down the year many have created chaos in our world by the methods of their accomplishments. The lack of honesty and honorable means by which they attained their success has hurt many in direct and indirect ways.
As we take a moment to reflect on our own methods of achievement I advise all to take into consideration those that are harmed by means you took that were less honorable. Get advice if you feel the need to come clean and manage the correction properly.
Setting right what you may have done wrong is rewarding but may come with consequence. Being protected and prepared for those consequences will be helpful in turning over your new leaf.
Freedom from concern and worry of looking over your shoulder for who will find out your less honorable methods and expose you will be a relief if you clean up your past right and move forward with better intentions. I recommend getting a team in place to support you if you have struggled with doing things honorably in the past.
There will be more fall outs to come as one large scheme after another is getting exposed. We will have to be patient as the process unfolds and the hurt will be felt on many levels. If anything we should look over the shoulders of the naive who still fall prey to false information and are victims. I recently saw huge advertising coverage on several stations about government home loans available and the company was really just set up to take a large application fee and give false hope to those suffering in foreclosure.
We can not turn our backs on deceitful business practices any more and we can not participate in the problem by using methods of doing business that perpetuate dishonesty. Speak up if you become aware of something that doesn’t seem right and review your own practices and accomplish your success with honesty and integrity the result will be longer lasting.
Avoid Alienating Your Friends and Parners With These Principles

Alienating your friends and partners directly or indirectly can ruin your friendships and career opportunities in the future. Here are five principles to think about utilizing to decrease your chances of self-inflicting alienation.
1. Do not withhold favors or being helpful when possible, a giver of good deeds is much better received than a taker.
2. When deserving support or advancement be sure to honor your friends and partners, sharing credit on co-operative projects and actions.
3. Do not take what is not yours or fail to return what you borrowed.
4. Never delay payment to or promotion of others it shows a disrespect of their service and time. If you can’t take care of things do not ignore them and pretend they don’t exist – this is a failure to live in reality.
5. Always right any wrong immediately. Take inventory quietly at the end of your day and make sure you were respectful and kind to all you encountered. If you were not make ammends where possible.
As the new year approaches resolve as many resentments and wrongs as you can, entering this new year with less hanging over you will be the best gift you can give yourself. There are always some wrongs that are difficult to make right but trying and retrying to fix as much as possible will be honored with open doors and opportunities in the future.

You can’t denounce whats false until you know the truth
Posted by: | CommentsA lot of the issues we are faced with from the last few months have a lot of ugly tentacles just now showing themselves. It is beyond comprehension that so many public companies were able to continue to deceive us with falsities. We were sold one good lie after another and made investment and home purchases and even employment decisions based on many of these lies.
Take the auto bailout and that’s just following this crazy tarp money that did nothing to boost lending. But with the bailout I still see way to many cars sitting on way too many lots in my home town so how is this money going to keep all these manufacturing jobs when we can’t even sell the inventory we have now? I think we should be hearing from the CFO’s and not the CEO’s and that the books should be opened so we can see how they parlayed themselves into this big dark hole. The lie in all this is that giving failing auto maker’s this loan will somehow change the outcome and increase revenue that will keep them in business in the future, they are still paying for the past and this money is only covering expenses from the past it is a float and the net 60-90 that are now later than that payable’s they probably still won’t see a dime of it.
We need to start dealing with the truth and living in reality if these companies are betting on future profits to cover current expenses they are just making the same mistakes all over again. Best way to run a business into the ground is spend more than you make and most of the companies we built this country on have been doing that for 30 plus years and all that time we thought they were profitable or were sold on buying their stock now based on some 20 or 30 years profits down the road that never came. No wonder they are always pushing long-term investing all the while shorting the stock on the front end and taking profits.
This mess is going to continue for a while and as we are now seeing all those big wig investment gurus who were actually running pyramid schemes and using one clients money to pay another who’s money they used to try and cover losses on another have just wiped out several other companies as we learned Friday.
Well I normally don’t like to get caught up in whining about the problem but until we fully understand the depth of this problem and start to educate and inform properly we will continue to have naive people jumping in on the next big scam brewing – how about that new commercial for FHA home loans that claim to have all this money, well when you call in their is a non-refundable $3500.00 application fee and guess what they make $3500.00 and convice you there is money for you and that’s a lie. Don’t ever agree to a fee upfront that is non-refundable – if they can’t do what they promise then they should not get paid.
We have to know the truth and at some point we can’t keep hushing and pushing off the truth tellers and giving the spot light to the scam artists. Those who speak softly and with conviction may not make great news but it’s time to put an end to all the cross talk yelling on our cable news stations pitting evil and good only to allow the drama to convulude the truth and the result is confusion and venues for deceit.
If we want to overcome this horrific state of emergency our globe is in we have to demand it and make sure we know the facts. The scam artists are out in full force knocking on doors, running ad’s on television, pulling hijacks from shopping carts online and most often stealing our identities to go on shopping sprees. Stay diligent and observant and question everything that doesn’t look or sound right and if it sound’s too good to be true – IT IS!
