Are you looking in the rear view mirror?
ByOr are you looking ahead? It is time to focus on what is in front of you and stop obsessing on what is behind you. If you are holding a grudge and full of resentment you are living in fear and focussed on the past. Be done with it already if your tired of the drama that happened then I am sure those around you are as well.
If you have a need to tell stories over and over again and create new audiences for your old stuff you are really wasting time. There is no moment like the present to get into the solution and be forward thinking. We have to learn and process our experiences so that the lessons are learned, not repeated and we encounter similar issues in the future with boundaries and sanity.
I have consulted with litigation participants who were intent of not letting go of the fight until they were broke and convinced them that letting it go was winning and they moved on to greater successes. As long as they held on to the baggage they had no room to let in the positive energy to grab even better opportunities. It is not always important to be right or to win an argument sometimes its just as important or more so to end it.
We can look at what is behind us easier than we can look into the future, but the future can be predictable most of the time. I have proven that over and over again. Any situation is either an absolute or has a measure of probability it really just is a bunch of calculations and moves which determine our destiny.
Throw out your rear view mirror of life and file the memories away and use those experiences to help yourself and others and move towards the brighter future.
