Sound body – Sound mind
Posted by: | CommentsI am inspired today to remind people to take care of themselves first. We must take care of our bodies and the wealth and knowledge of our minds will truly be expressed by that action. Valerie Waters was born with a gift she can look at a body and intuitively know exactly what that person should be doing exercise wise and what that person should be eating to bring out their very best for a role in a film or a role in life. Valerie has started the Red Carpet Ready Club and I highly recommend that anyone who’s bodies are not reflective of their brilliant mind to get involved in her program – she is truly gifted.
Over the last 25 years I have watched Valerie’s work with celebrities with amazement. her celebrity clients have almost always won the Emmy or Golden Globe for the characters she trained them to portray. I believe her program will do the same for all of you wanting your outer image to reflect your inner thinking about yourself and your goals. Just think of the impact the power of your presence will have when you walk into an interview or a meeting with a powerful body that reflects the mind you educated. The ease of captivating your audience when you look the part and the endurance you have to keep that captivation and carry out what you say you can do is reflective in how you have taken care of yourself.
It is time to get in shape and show on the outside what you have on the inside. Valerie Waters has been a friend and a client for over 25 years and I have the utmost respect for her and the work she does. I encourage you to think about everything your doing to yourself, when you eat something ask yourself “is this giving me life or taking me life?” Don’t spend another minute too tired or out of breath get in shape today!
If you stepped in crap dont keep walking.
Posted by: | CommentsMy Dad told me sometime ago when I was in the middle of a project determined to find an answer and solve a problem amongst the most toxic situation filled with toxic people “If you step in crap and keep walking you spread more crap and its hard to go back and clean it all up.” I tried to stay focused on my mission and every day I would wake up motivated to finish and pull it all together and make a difference, but the crap was in my way of a clean finish.
The more i did the more I couldn’t get away from it. I eventually stopped and went back and started cleaning it up but the clean-up job was not easy and you could see all the circles and backtracking I had done that were really a waste of time.
If you have crap following you stop, go back and clean it up and leave it behind. If you see crap don’t step in it and dont ignore it, get it cleaned up and forever removed from your path.
Right now there is a lot of crap out there, it is like land mines just waiting to go off hoping unsuspecting, gullible people will land on it. It is the time to open your eyes, stay diligent and observant. Take each step in your life and your career with passion and caution. If your stumbling take the hand of your coach and friends and even reach out for some help if you have to go back to clean up a mess. It is always a good idea to clean up a crappy mess before someone asks you to do it.
Balanced Budgets
Posted by: | CommentsSound fiscal management personally and professionally are the keys to maintaining economic momentum and improving your standard of living and your businesses foundation.
We must begin spending wisely and eliminating waste. Living and Building our businesses within there means is prudent during these difficult times. We have been robbing Peter to pay Paul and Peter is broke.
If these were unforeseen times for you then its time to open your eyes and be more diligent about staying in touch with information and resources. Having a financial cushion has never been more important. We must now spend time re-evaluating our assets and the value of what we have. We need to be practical and with the reduction of available credit we must look at our available cash and how to spend less and get more.
Experts are warning that growth will be limited over the next year. So plan for it. Make a list of what you have, what you need and how much you can spend and what you have to offer partnerships where trade is possible. Start round tables bringing partnerships to the table and discussing how you can work together and reduce spending and reallocate funds from projects that are not working to opportunities that realign with your core business and meet the immediate needs of your businesses.
This is the time to be focussed, to plan and strategize and make use of your resources. Be frugal and smart. My idea is to take everything your not using make an inventory of it and find someone who needs it who has something your looking for before you put out another penny. Get creative and leave emotion out of your budget.
Slow down to show you are Dignified

To appear more dignified have a solid good plan that takes into account a good sense of timing and an awareness of the best way to execute your efforts and a clear vision on where you are going. This plan will make you appear less disheveled, rushed, desperate and indignant.
Keep your target goal in mind and stay positive. Move enthusiastically into this period with confidence in the success of your efforts. It may take some time to realize your goal, but vision and confidence will help you reach it.
Most undertakings spent with focus, clarity and desire will take you on a path with less bumps in the road and drama. You should be more willing to accept some risk and to take an adventurous approach to new opportunities when you are balanced and relaxed. You will limit errors in judgment when you are less spontaneous and have given yourself enough time to complete your agendas and action plans towards your goals.
Luck will be on your side if you add enthusiasm and a confident mood balanced with patience. The ability to maintain support and a stronger foundation for your long-term prosperity will emerge and you will not lose what you gain along the way.
